-$nomdefichier. SLDPRT

Hello

Anyone know what $nomdefichier files are. SLDPRT

I think it's the automatic backup or maybe a backup waste....

can they be removed or are they really useful?

In general, these are temporary files

These are hidden files needed for automatic backup.

There's no point in deleting them since they'll reappear if you use these files...

All the -$ files that can be found in Windows folders, are "marker" files to indicate that the file is open, this is what makes that when you open a file it opens it in read-only, in theory this file deletes itself when you close the file.

These files are created automatically by Windows for all applications, so this is valid for words, excel, etc.

If the file is not opened but a -$ exists, it is likely that there was a "crash" of the application in which the file was open and that therefore the file was not deleted by itself, so you can delete it without any problem by hand.
