I add bills of materials to my plans using table templates, however I am forced to select "Parts only" each time, is there a way for this option to be selected from the start?

To be tested, but by saving a BOM template with this configuration maybe it works. For my part I have a bug, as soon as I select this option it remains permanently active on the current session and even if I restart SW.

Testing under sw2014 with a table model, the last option remains active until the next table insertion in an MEP (First Level, Room Only or Tab)
At home, when a new table is installed, the type proposed is the last one that was installed.
so if the last one placed is in tab, it is preselected in tab,
if first level -> first level
etc...
