I have to create assemblies with a subset that I repeat dozens of times.
To lighten my assembly I created a symbol of the subassembly using the feature tool .
So I end up with a file part.
Now I would like to know if there is a way to automatically make 4 lines of predefined BOMs appear on my mep for this .prt file (e.g. body/piston/spring/cap)?
To make your assembly lighter, you should put these assemblies in lighter, there it would help you and I think that your nomenclature problem would be too since your parts will be there. (5:25 p.m. for my supervisor)
that's exactly the purpose of this function: to display a 3D but to lighten the assembly as much as possible.
You need to create a new SpeedPak configuration, choose the faces that are used for the constraints (these will be the only clickable faces in the assembly), and then choose that configuration in the assembly. This will show up in the nomenclature.
