New battery for asus X53S

Hello

I have an asus X53S laptop and I am looking to buy a new battery for it, not to replace the original one but to complete it. The original one has a capacity of 4400 mAh and a voltage of 10.8 V.

I would like to know if it is possible to take a battery with a capacity higher than the original one, i.e. 5200 mAh? Will my computer be able to handle it?

Moreover in all my searches for batteries I only find compatible batteries, isn't there a risk for the computer, with these batteries? That is to say, isn't it better to buy original batteries?

I thought maybe I would change his battery, except that I have the impression that this battery is no longer on sale! Is this site reliable if anyone knows? http://www.batterieacheter.com/asus-x53s.html .

Thank you

Hello, otherwise the easiest would be to ask Asus directly what they advise you and what exists for your PC! Because who better than a manufacturer to inform you about an improvement of the PC???

Have a good weekend.

It's not really the purpose of this forum but I'll give you a few answers anyway.

Capacity, you can take whatever you want. It's the charger that will work more to fill it (like when you fill the tank of a smart or a big sedan).

The only important thing about an electric bridge is the voltage.
