Each time a STEP file is opened, a new SW session opens. I saw something about it in relation to file associations a while ago, but I can't find it anymore.
How do I get STEP files to open in the already opened session?

In Windows Explorer, you must select the "SolidWorks Launcher" as the application that opens the Steps (and for other files of the same type) and not the simple "SolidWorks".

When opening the STEP files with the SW Launcher, the following error message appears.

My problem is not solved because the step is not opened even by modifying the proposed file association.
If anyone knows of a solution? I'm a taker.
