Part Number in Part Drawing - SolidWorks 2016

Last question before the weekend.

I would like to put the reference number of a part in the drawing of it in an automated way, i.e. directly from the assembly nomenclature.

The property that we have in the nomenclature is "article number".

Can it be retrieved in the part drawing by pointing to the assembly in question?

Is there a macro if not?

Thank you

Hello

If the part plan is a sheet in the assembly plan it is possible, otherwise without PDM tools that will manage it in separate files I don't think it is available.

Thanks @Coyote, but I tried to put the asm in another sheet with the bill of materials, but I don't see how to retrieve the item number in the part sheet

Re

By bubbling the piece in its folio and not in the folio of the asm.

You have to make a second tab in the MEP of the ASM and put the part you want and there you can put your bubble with the marker number

Re re,

Otherwise, the other solution is to give an article number in the properties of each part and thus use it for the BOMs and the part cartridges.

I put my assembly and its nomenclature in the first folio.

Then I put the first piece in the next fiolio, the 2nd in the next, ...

In each room, I put nomenclature and then a bubble but they all have the reference N°1 ...

I think I have found:

You have to bind the property to the specified table it seems to me

@Coyote,

This is what I usually do, I have a "Part Number" property that I use instead of "Item Number". But I wanted to know more about the possibilities of the latter.
