Item Number (Autodesk Inventor)

Hi all!

I have created a family of parts (flanges) in order to be able to insert different sizes of a standard element into an assembly.

The problem is that when I make a nomenclature, the markings for the Iparts are the same while my parts have different characteristics and names.

Could you enlighten me on that?

Thank you!

Hello

Isn't it a problem of setting up or updating the nomenclature?

If! I think I remember, but it goes back a bit, that under inventor, you have to say that the parts of the same family are not under the same number (right click, property)

Otherwise, you can also work on your BOM from the assembly and it is reflected in your 2D

Take a good look at this link Everything is said about the families of inventor parts

as well as the naming of each piece

gt22: I tried this technique in order to appropriate SAP numbers to each article.

However, the markings on the plans indicate the same numbers for irooms with different characteristics.

@coin37coin: I also seem to have seen this criterion before, but it is impossible to find it . . .

I haven't tried it yet to work on the nomenclature in the assembly! I'll try ;)!
