Hi all
A small question of a partial nature,
On solidworks 2012, when creating a feature on a part, after the choice of the sketch plane, solidworks switched automatically to the sketch tab to choose the strokes and create the sketch, but on 2014 this is no longer the case.
Thank you
I'm attaching an image of the tabs I'm talking about.

Hello
For me it has always worked and still works even in 2014.
What action do you take exactly?

When you click on a face, it offers you to create a sketch
Open Sketch
Sketching toolbar
if you have the tools in your toolbar
you must be able to use them

Indeed, one of my colleagues tells me that it works with him...
Where does the difference come from?
I make new part, function, boss and I click on the plan and at that moment it should switch to sketch but not at home.

Close everything and reopen the log and tell us

I advise you to make a "reg" file from your colleague's workstation and integrate them into your workstation.
For the procedure see the end of the "Tutorial":

No@gt22 it corresponds to starting a sketch when creating a new part in a nothing-to-do assembly.

I'm leaning towards a defective registry so the idea of copying the .reg of another machine seems pretty good to me.

Hello
According to this link:
https://forum.solidworks.com/thread/62725
He had to reinstall SolidWorks to fix this bug, even the registry reset didn't help.
So how do I get the coyote .reg??

@jsourd on the workstations where it works, go to the tools menu, then "save/restore settings" and on yours, do an import.

On SLDW 2014, in "system option"
Go to sketch... and ticks the first line (automatic rotation of the view in the normal direction to the plane when the sketch is created)

Hello
By any chance, it has nothing to do with this checkbox? (see photo)
