Solidwroks License Server Option

Hello

I would have liked to know if anyone has ever tried to set the option file of the solidworks license server to be able to manage user groups, timeouts, exclusions .... etc...

I had quickly looked at the pdf that can be found in the installation folder but I always thought that it was not possible for us to use it because we needed another version of the license server.

.PL posted on another topic (solidworks slowdown) a link to the "symssolutions" site and I see that on the blog he talks about the configuration of the license server option file.

here: http://www.symsolutions.com/symblog/item/solidworks-snl-options-file

and there http://www.symsolutions.com/symblog/item/solidworks-network-licensing-snl-options-feature-names

I tried a few tests but it doesn't work.... I would have to dig a little deeper.

In the article we see this interface, I don't understand how it gets on this page? On my server it  is not available...

Hello

What interface do you have on your server?

A priori the screen you put is just the information on the server by clicking one of the buttons here (modify or reread probably):

You're right.PL you have to go to "Modify" and "Activate/Reactivate a software license. From there it is possible to check on "file option"

I did a quick little test with my user so that he can't start SW compose it works perfectly!!

Thank you

Hello

If you can give an example of the syntax of the option file to prevent for example a user named XYZ from using Composer, it would be cool for people who will ask the same questions.
