Hi all
I need to make a marking plan and I would like my text to follow the circlular contour of my piece.
I want to add the text in the plan and not in the 3D file.
I tried with a note but couldn't find an option to "bend" the text. I know that on Top Solid you can do it, I think I remember doing it under Catia, but now on SOLIDWORKS I'm stuck.
Has anyone ever done/seen this kind of thing?
Thank you
See you soon
For me, you can only do it from the 3D file but not from the drawing.
Why don't you want to put the info in 3D?

Hello
In the Text sketch function you can select edges, curves, sketch segments, etc.

To my knowledge, not possible in the drawings.
Only in sketch or 3D.
It's logical...
Don't forget that a MEP meets the ISO standard and you don't do what you want.
Putting the text in the shape of a circle or other in the MEP is more artistic than technical drawing...
By always wanting to personalize, we forget the basic principles.

You can insert blocks into a drawing
and as in the blocks you put what you want, no problem ;-)
it can solve your problem

@gt22
The problem is that he will have to customize his blocks for each ray and each annotation
It's still a sticker put on a drawing
Tssss don't encourage him to make c********
It's not ISO to do that
Is it the same kind as putting a smiley in a MEP^^
