CATIA Inertial Analysis Tool

Hi all

Despite checking the option to automatically update measurements in a CATProduct, sometimes this feature doesn't update in my assembly.

Have you ever encountered this problem and do you have a solution other than to redo it (I use it in a macro)?

Thank you for your answers

Hello, I don't really understand the link between the title and the question?

For the "Measurements" tool, yes it's a PB in CATIA, you often have to right-click on the measure, Measure object/force the update of the measure. (To see if you can force the update in your macro ?)

Whether in formulas, rules, reaction, it is better to avoid using measures.

I often use a part (Skeleton) in my assemblies to control the geometry of the parts but also their positions, which allows me to bypass the PB inside this CATPart, either by creating the geometry (line representing the measurement, or by a user parameter evaluated by formula).

Thank you for your answer.

I am talking more specifically about the "Inertia Measurements" tool. Force updating also doesn't work.

For the skeleton aspect I practice in the same way.

No PB on my side, the forced update works on an inertia measurement, on the other hand I advise you to customize the measurement (to display only what you need).
