Cutting tool with surface

Hello!

I have a shape on which I have to make an increase of material to keep only a 20 mm thick outline (photo attached). So I made a surface shift from the ends of my part to the inside but when I want to use the surface cutting function it is impossible for the software to do what I ask. How to do it?

Hello

To  get there I used the Front Plane and Top Plane plans and I put the sketches of your shape with a 20 offset and do the material removal. See PJ:

PS I'm in 2016, that's why I'm not putting the coin with you...

There is no reason for it, you have managed to reproduce???

otherwise, the surface must be extended so that it protrudes from the room.
