Opening SAT in SolidWorks

Hello

A colleague cannot open a SAT file on their extension.

I tried mine and it worked without any problem.

He has the following message:

The selected add-in is not a valid add-in in SolidWorks.

Has anyone ever faced the problem?

Hello

Are SW's versions the same?

I had seen this type of message once in an old version (2011 from memory) and was linked to simulationxpress ... It has since been corrected.

To test I will start by unchecking all the solidworks add-ins, closing the application, restarting it and trying again.

Yes, the versions are the same.

I'll try to disable add-ins tomorrow.

I also think for a supplement that makes the problem buggy.

In the worst case, as an emergency workaround, open the *.*sat on your computer and save it as *.*sldprt, to give it to your colleague, but only valid if it concerns very few files.

Indeed, by disabling the Simulation add-in, it works, thank you all!

Happydad, that's what I had done for a file indeed, thank you.
