Open an IGES file on alias

Hello everyone,

 

I need help with the AUTODESK ALIAS software. 

It turns out that I have to open an IGES file on ALIAS, normally no problem... but it turns out that the file opens but is empty 

, no objects, no surfaces, nothing in the file, while the file is good since it opens correctly on other software...  

 

Has a similar case ever happened to one of you? And do you have a solution to the problem?

You need to see the export version of your IGES,

 

See to do an export to an earlier version to fix this problem which for me concerns compatibility.

Under SolidWorks this has already happened to me, I asked my supplier for a WWTP and it immediately worked better.
It is possible that the IGES conversion was done incorrectly (conversion options incorrectly defined?).

yes so I asked for an export in another format and the most worry, but it's not normal to ask for it especially on an IGES file...  

 

I'm going to try on another version we'll see ...
