I am creating this post because I have not found anything equivalent.
I'm looking for a starter pack for my personal files: beautiful basemaps, clean cartridges, nomenclature databases, materials, etc.
I think everyone has their own little library, but I haven't really found a common base or starter package that's already ready.
So if you have any items to share, templates, backgrounds, or any other resource that could serve as a base pack, don't hesitate!

The ideal is to start from those of SW (basic profile).
Take the files of the same year as SW, modify them as you wish and save them in the appropriate place.
You should avoid taking old models because it can make you row, or even crash.

I agree with @sbadenis , might as well use the basic ones from Solidworks ... but if you modify them, remember to save them in another location (such as a server or another hard drive), so that your changes will not disappear the next time you update or restore the Solidworks installation...
=> This is valid for all types of documents, models, libray...
and remember to make dated backups of Solidworks system preferences regularly...
and don't hesitate to consult the help of Solidworks (or other sites) to get started.
