Hello, how to correctly set up a flange via a family of parts to make your library? Indeed I created my 3D and then my family of parts in relation to the 3D but compared to the difference in DN of the flange (for example from DN 15 to DN150) the number of holes is different (4 to 8) with a different angle.
this is wrong to set up and I don't know how to proceed so that the number of holes follow according to the desired DN!!
If you have put all the dimensions you are interested in in the family of parts, why not put the number of occurrences of the circular repetition that manages the number of holes? Something like: DN15, occurrence = 4 DN 150 occurrence = 8 As a result, the difference in the angle of the holes will be managed automatically by the circular repetition
Yes, I think you understood my request... in my family room I have put everything on the right sides... in addition I put the number and the angle of drilling .. I would have to fill in my family of parts of the circular repetition and the number of occurrences of piercing simply.. I must surely remove the drilling angle which must be missing!!
When you are in your part family, you just have to click in a box, then you double, click on the repeat function and the different information appears, then you click in the 1st box at the top of the blank and you double, click on the information of the number of occurrences, then then you fill in the boxes with the number according to the need.
Or else you edit the sketch with your repetition and you right-click on the number of occurrences and there on the left opens the pane with all the information about the repetition. You copy "D6@Esquisse1" it (D6 is for my house) then you paste it in the family of parts and then you just have to fill in the line below with the number of holes you need.
