Hello everyone,
Back from vacation and already a slight problem with Solidworks.
Nothing too serious, don't worry.
When I make a drawing and convert it to pdf, solidworks has fun changing my font, my notes, dimensions, names (in short, everything).
Do you have an idea for him to keep my nice font in my pdfs?
Thanks in advance
Fred

Hello
How do you convert your PDF?
There are several possibilities: save - convert to PDF, or by a PDFCreator style printer?
Is the problem new?
If so, you can try resetting the SolidWorks settings.

By selecting the PDF format, you have to click on "Options" and check "Embed fonts"

Well done @Bart:
"Incorporate fonts . Setting fonts becomes part of the document, which increases the file size but ensures that the fonts are set as in the original document."

Oh, that's sure to weigh down the pdf.
Sometimes, on a pdf with several views, sides and text, I can get up to 20MB the file!! :p

The "embed fonts" box is checked.
For the conversion I go through "save as" or the MyCad tools and it changes my font.
If I print via my pdf printer (PDF Complete) it works but it sticks a s**** logo in the upper left corner of the map.

Uses PDFCreator rather than PDFComplete, it's free and open source:

And you didn't answer my first question:
"Is the problem new?
If so, you can try resetting the SolidWorks settings."
Below is the procedure:
you have to try resetting the SolidWorks settings to see if it doesn't come from the configuration of the workstation:
Close SolidWorks.
Go to regedit (Start > Run > regedit) and then rename the folder with _OLD at the end for example (to restore the settings later):
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Solidworks\SolidWorks .... depending on the version you want to reset.
When you restart SW, you have the "factory" settings
The license keys are in another place, so no risks.
On the other hand, if it solves the problem, it's quite complicated to know which parameter in particular is causing the problem !
If you have kept an older copy of the settings, you should try it, or take the settings from a colleague's computer if possible.
Otherwise, you have to restore all the settings by hand, hoping not to find the bug later !
Or last solution, reinstall or repair the SolidWorks installation!
See this link : http://help.solidworks.com/2013/french/SolidWorks/Install_Guide/t_repairing_installation.htm
As for the novelty of the problem, I don't know.
This is the first time I've converted my plans to pdf. Usually I keep them in soldiworks format. But since it's a big deal, I converted my plans to pdf in order to reprint them faster.

If the goal is mass printing, you can use the SolidWorks Job Scheduler to print all the plans for a folder (or assembly?):
http://help.solidworks.com/2012/French/solidworks/swtaskscheduler/r_task_sched_task_sidebar.htm
You need the PRO version of SolidWorks I think, and if you have WorkGroup PDM, you can print all the plans of a project:

Stupid question, but why not try in Jpg.
What is the name of the font you use?
I'm going to test the task planner.

For the task scheduler, I have the 2012 version and I'm working on it...... Solidworks 2014
I use the ISOCOPEUR font
For the JPG using Batch Converter I also have a failure with the following explanation: Unable to generate the file in JPEG format: The RPC server is not available. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706BA)

Hello
Excerpt from Solidworks Help: "To save a document that includes non-English characters in PDF format, the Arial Unicode MS font must be installed on your system"
Is this the case?
Otherwise, I think it's coming from your font, try to change the font and see if it still creates the same problem for you.
Hello
It must be his! I tested by changing the font to Comic without MS to test and SW does the pdf correctly.
The problem therefore comes from the font.
We'll try to deal with it.
Thank you very much for your help, involvement and answers.
