I just downloaded and installed SolidWorks2016 and would like to share the folder with my colleagues so they don't have to download it themselves. My question: where is this file???

By searching for solidworks download in windows, you should find it.
Normally, it's in your user folder I think.

By default it is located in:
Documents, SolidWorks Download
For example, at my place, the exact address is:
C:\Users\mcordero\Documents\SolidWorks Downloads

The problem was that the folder was in my documents folder in the user folder, and not in the my documents folder on the PC
