Hello
I recently acquired a new Lenovo Thinkpad G2 laptop with an Intel I7 processor and an RTX A3000 graphics card in it
In the Visualize software, when I try to run a render only on the graphics card, I get an error telling me "failed to render", when I launch in hybrid mode, I see that it's only the processor that is working.
Of course the processor mode works but to gain speed I would also like to use the integrated card. I have already tried to update the graphics driver.
Thank you in advance if you have already solved the problem
Kind regards
Makes a diagnosis with solidworks RX.
If your card is not certified or even not recognized by SW it is logical that he does not use it:

Hello
Thank you for your answer.
I recommended this computer because it is on the list of solidworks video cards tested.
On the other hand, what I had not taken into account is that in the list it was noted solidworks 2022 and we are currently using solidworks 2019.
In your opinion, this is the reason for my problem?
To select a rendering mode:
Click Tools > Options > 3D Window.
Under Rendering Device, turn off Automatic.
Select a rendering mode:
CPU, if your CPU is significantly more powerful than your graphics card.
GPU, if you have a powerful video card such as an nVidia CUDA-compatible GPU with more than 1 GB of VRAM.
Hybrid, if you have a balanced system with a good nVidia card and a comparable CPU.

Hello @ all and @ all
It's not that simple! I'm in the 2021 version
Indeed, you can only choose between the graphics card if you have an NVIDIA IRAY (read ray tracing), if you have an NVIDIA Quadra P2000 for example, and Visualize considers that your card is in this case weaker than the CPU (example Intel Core I7 four cores 8 threads or more powerful proc)
On the other hand, when I do the final rendering, the 4 cores are used to the fullest, 100% or 95% depending on the setting).
Also the denoizer mode (denoiser) is only active with the right graphics card. In CPU mode, no access to the denoizer.
This means that if you only visualize from time to time and if you don't have the Vizualise Pro version, the CPU is enough. If you use Vizualize a lot, it means that you have to trim the machine accordingly. As someone who does that graphic design will have to acquire the appropriate equipment.
Kind regards
