Switching from English to French in SW 2013

Hi all

I installed SW 2014, and, when I read an SW2013 file, an automatic manipulation made me find SW2013. I now have the choice to open with SW2013 or SW2014!!

SW2013 has been installed in English, is it possible, without reinstalling, to use it in French? If so, how?

Hello, yes it's in the options (if the Windows language is French and French has been installed):

Tools; Options; System options; General; And there are 2 boxes to uncheck "Use English menus" and "Use English function and file names".

Remember to restart afterwards!

After comparing the contents of:

"C:\ProgramData\SolidWorks\SolidWorks 2013\lang" and

"C:\ProgramData\SolidWorks\SolidWorks 2014\lang",

I noticed that I am missing the "French" directory in "C:\ProgramData\SolidWorks\SolidWorks 2013\lang".

I'll reinstall it will be faster than looking.
