I received dwg files by email.
I can't read them (neither on Draftsight, nor on EModelViewer, nor on SW)
The sender reads them on his side without any problem...
Is there anything to do to read it correctly?

How do you open them?
Sometimes dragging the file from the email to the software doesn't work properly.
You have to save the file in your documents and then open it from Draftsight or other.

How big are the files, and with what software/version does the sender read them?

DraftSight is up to date: 2014
same for SW...
the file in question is 1.7MB
the sender reads it with Autoview or something like that
wouldn't it be DWG made by Inventor?
