3D PDF on Inventor 2010

Hello

How to make 3D PDFs with Inventor 2010 software?

Thank you for your answers

Hello

It's not Inventor that manages this directly, but Adobe Acrobat 3D.

It is free (from memory) and you just have to save the part in IGES format (there are other compatible formats, to be seen) with Inventor, then open it directly in Adobe Acrobat 3D.

Good luck

Hello

I don't know if there is a plugin for Inventor, but you will need, anyway, Acrobat 3D

The best thing to do is to try with the trial version

By making a "save as" in PDF format, there may be an optional checkbox to save as a 3D PDF.

Otherwise I found this on youtube.

It points to a software inventor2pdf3d.

As Felix says, Acrobat 3D is not required to create the PDF file with 3D.

On the other hand, it is if you want to format the document and add information...

I wanted to make that clear.

Hello

Like Romux, I would be leaning towards a 3D PDF3D backup option when saving to PDF.

At least that's how it is in SolidWorks, TopSolid and certainly other systems.

I just looked under Solidworks and I couldn't find the direct backup in 3D PDF.

Is it a plugin?

In any case, the few times I did this conversion, I went through Adobe, at least the result was there!

@Jose-accessa

No plugin. you just have to do a Save as, choose the Pdf format and check the pdf3D box.

Ok thank you for your answers, but I can't find or download the adobe 3D file....

It's a bit of a mess, and it asks me to download a lot of other things...

Help me please????? ;)

Yves posted a link above on Tomguide, here it is again just in case:

Hello a supplement:
For the formatting of the pdf3d you will need Acrobat 3D.
But from the free reader, you can already annotate, put stamps, take measurements  , make dynamic sections, save your file, etc.
