PDM - Tree Copy - Non-Visible Drawings

Hello

I've been looking for a while without finding. So I'm posting here hoping that someone will be able to help me...

To briefly explain, when I make a tree copy of an assembly and check the "Include drawings" option, the drawings are not added to my list and the "Total to copy" number for the drawings at the bottom of the window remains desperately at "(0)"...

The plans that should be added are stored in the same place as their respective model, with the same name.

I looked in many options in the PDM admin tool (User and Group Settings / File Type Settings / ...), I have the same behavior when I try to manipulate with the Admin account.

Thanks in advance to those who could guide me on a track because right now, I'm drying up a bit...

Hello

I have the impression that my question doesn't attract many people...

This problem is really frustrating but hey, if no one has the inspiration, I'll see to it otherwise.

Hello

You already have to go through the PDM tool: tab "tool" / "copy of tree" (or something similar is "copy tree" in English).

Then in the tree copy menu you have to check the box "include drawings"

If it's not OK it's because PDM shouldn't make the link between the MEP and the assembly (which would be weird)

What does the "contain" tab of EPDM say about a drawing that doesn't want to copy itself? If the tab does not reference the 3D file (and its children) the problem comes from there (and therefore possibly from a messed up configuration of your EPDM).

Hello, you need to open a ticket with the assistance of visiativ.

Hello

Below is a link to a video explaining how the tree copy works

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WlEUzepKvfg

Pay attention to the copy   version (latest version or referenced).

If the drawing does not exist as a referenced option  and this option is checked, the drawings will not be visible.

Hello

@froussel:

The manipulations of the tool (Copy Tree) are exactly what I do. And the drawn files don't come in the list.

However, the links are well made in PDM: if I look at the list "contains" of a drawing in question, it contains the 3D file that is fine and that is in the list of the tree copy (and which should therefore bring back the drawing when I click on the "include drawings" option).

@YP69:

Thank you for the video, even if it remains "basic" and I already know what it shows.

Regarding the choice latest version / referenced, I mainly use "latest version". I still did tests with the 2 choices but the result remains the same.

@dominque.naudet:

I think that's what I'm going to do indeed ;-)

In any case, thank you for your answers.

Maybe try deleting and recreating a local view.
