PDM, images and data maps

Hi all

As a PDM user and administrator for 5 years now, I customized the data maps of our interface with an image: a banner at the top of the map, to make the interface more attractive (see attachment).

This image is the same on all cards. The idea, to bring a little animation and joy to the sometimes gloomy daily life of my colleagues :-) would be to be able to modify this image according to the context (particular calendar event for example).

The problem I encounter is that I now have 21 cards to manage, and that when I change the source image file, well I have to open all the cards, repoint the image and save them.... Without it, the cards retain the old version of the image.

It's done relatively quickly, but it's not the most ergonomic...

Anyone have a trick to do this faster? The idea, ideally, would be to modify only the source file, and that it automatically updates all the maps that would point to this image file.

I know, it's perfectly useless, but hey ;-)

Hello, according to the administration guide, page 167; "When you add a new image, it is stored in the vault archive." .

You would therefore have to search in the archive database where these images are stored, and directly replace (with the same name) the one you want. But I'm not sure if you can modify archive files in this way because they're often read-only.

Hello

Thank you for the answer and sorry for my late reaction :-)

The image I want to deploy is stored on the vault. But if I change it, it doesn't change the maps. As if the image displayed in the map was precisely stored in the map...

Only repointing the image, even if it has not changed its name or location, forces the visual to be updated.
