PDM on Windows 11

Hello

After updating my PC from windows 10 to windows 11 PDM no longer works properly. Unfortunately it's been more than 10 days since the update was done and so no going back is possible except to reformat the PC!

Could you tell me if you have the same problem and especially what to do?

Thank you

Hello and thank you for the feedback,

Indeed if only...

But Solidworks or Visiativ could have maybe sent an email to warn everyone because I'm not often on the forum.

In general, before a big update, I inquire about compatibility.

I'm afraid the only solution is formatting for W10 return.

Maybe make a ticket with the hotline to check, but not too much doubt about the remaining solution.

If the C:/windows.old folder is still present, it is possible to go back to Windows 10 without formatting (and without data loss).

Thank you very much for the feedback but unfortunately not OLD file.

It's a hidden folder, if you don't have the "show hidden folders" option checked and "hide protected files from the system" unchecked, you won't see it. You can find these options from the folder options.

In Explorer, View>Options>View menu

In any case, try the link anyway, you will know more reliably if you can still go back.

The old folder is kept for as long as it is possible to go back and then automatically deleted. so if the deadline for going back has passed, the file has disappeared...

Hello

there is a SW Win11 link, but I don't know if the pdm works well with it, it's up to you to test
