Customize toolbar on attached screenshot with solidworks 2014

Hello

Can we customize this toolbar. I want to add the 3 planes of a room to be able to hide them quickly.

Hello, to my knowledge no.

On the other hand, the menu accessible with the S key is totally customizable and also depends on the context: it will be different if you are in a room, a sketch, an assembly, or a drawing.

See here:

You can also use mouse movements:

Or assign a keyboard shortcut:

Edit: the personalization of this menu is a new feature for 2015!

See here:

On the other hand, hiding a plan will only be possible from the creation tree I think.

The plan is created in the feature manager your creation tree

then you can hide them via the appropriate tool the glasses among others

To create these plans you just have to go to the plan tool to create them and name them by selecting the desired constraint refs

Thank you for your quick answers.

In fact, I've been working on catia V5 for 10 years and my company wanted to switch us to solidworks for a question of compatibility with the method service and for the cost of licenses.

Well, just like my colleagues, I'm struggling but we'll deal with it.

To start with, I will recommend my tutorial with a few simple reminders about SolidWorks:

Hello

This toolbar has been customizable since the 2015 version of SolidWorks, it is not customizable in previous versions.

Correct @Coyote, that's what I said in my 1st message ;-)

And I also indicated some solutions to overcome it  if we don't have the 2015 version.
