Customization of drill sizes "screw passage"

Hello

I would like to know if it is possible to customize the drill sizes of the "Screw Passage" type and standardize it for all my colleagues.

The idea is that for a passage for an M12 screw , I can automatically have a hole at Ø16 for example. And I would like to customize it for the whole range of screws that we use.

I don't want to use the "tight", "normal" or "with play" options. The dimensions don't suit me. And I also don't want to use "show custom size" and change it every time I use it.

I hope I've been clear :-)

Thank you in advance for your answers.

Hello

Look and see, normally you should get there with these links:

Hello

Thank you for the answer but I don't want to link the holes to smart components. This solution will not suit our working methodology.

I just want to customize the "drilling assistance " function and assign my own hole sizes that I use as a "screw pass".

But I don't know if it's possible ;-)

Yes it's possible, you just have to copy the drilling library to the server.

Then customized with the toolbox tool (search in windows), assistance for drilling, the standard you want to modify (ex ISO) then straight hole and finally screw passage and there you can customize the values.

Then, on each workstation, you just have to change the path of the toolbox to the path of the toolbox to be copied on the server

Maybe look at the "norms": http://help.solidworks.com/2018/French/SolidWorks/sldworks/HIDD_OPTIONS_DATA_OPTIONS.htm?format=P&value=

Hello

Look from page two and follow the instructions, I checked and it works.

Make a copy of the folder you want to edit and give the path. That way you'll still have the original just in case...

Thank you for your answers!

I'll do the test in the next few days so that I can free up some time to do it ;-)

I'll tell you if it works.
