Loss of link between part family and 3D in Solidworks

Hello

I have just switched to SP04 (SW2016) with Exel office 2010, and I can no longer edit the 3D related part family.

When opening the 3D the following message is displayed:

"Unable to open the .xlsx file because its format or extension is invalid. Check that the file is not corrupted and that its extension matches the file format."

Then it is impossible to edit or even recreate the link with the .xlsx file

After several attempts, Solidworks even removes the part family from the tree.

Is it possible that the version is the cause of this bug or is there another explanation that escapes me?

Hello ac cobra 427 and thank you for taking the time to answer my problem.

I tried to reinsert the table and part family, but nothing helped, I can't get the original part family.

I could recreate these, but the problem is that I have a mutitude of pieces in this case.

I attach one of them as an example.

Reading it seems to me that there may be a conflict of the office pack in very the Sp3 / SP4 in 2016

or I didn't read well ;-)

Do you have a backup of the files???   Can you open them normally via exel???

Impossible to open them via excel!!

I think everything is dead, I've tried everything and what's not normal is that you can't open them via exel... You don't have a month-long server backup at anything like that??? To make an opening test???

Look at it, you should try the last comment to see if it works, the others didn't work for me and I have 2013 in office pack...
