Can I move the local view from one disk to another?

Hello

I'm using PDM Std with SLD2019. The local view is on my C disk: where I only have 20GB of space available on 220GB.

While on my workstation I have an F: disk or I have 800GB available.

So my question is; Can I move the local view from my C: disk to my F: disk?

Immanuel.

From memory yes but beware of the induced effects on the possible paths defined in the SW parameters (models, tables, etc)

Thank you for your answer.

As for document templates and other tables. They are not in the PDM vault but in a share directory on the F: disk.

In my PDM vault,  I only archive my projects with the specific parts as well as my libraries of Std and commercial parts.

For moving the local view do you have a procedure that I could use. I would like to avoid losing my data.

Hello

From memory, it is first of all necessary:

  1. Archive your files
  2. Delete Local View
  3. Create a new view

link that may help
