Hi all
I had a question about DriveWorks.
The use of the database that you create through DriveWorks (Solo or Pro) is only possible when you have a Solo or Pro license, or can you use it with a classic Solidworks license, or with a license that does not allow the modification of this database? (For economic reasons)
Thanks in advance,
Timothé
Hello Timothé,
Can you go into a little more detail about what you want to do?
What types of things do you want to exploit from the database?
Kind regards
Thomas

By exploit I mean:
Have access to fill in the form,
Create the part/assembly via the form,
Create the various documents related to the part/assembly.
Basically, once the part is configured, is it necessary to keep the solo or pro license to use the form, or is there an "exploitation" license?
At this time there is no "exploitation" license for the DriveWorks technology.
One of the modules of DriveWorks Pro called DriveWorks User allows users to fill in forms and generate new models without having access to edit the project. I have the impression that this is close to the use you describe.
So to answer your question, yes you need a DriveWorks license to use your forms.
However, it is important to note that when you purchase DriveWorks Solo or DriveWorks Pro, your license is yours, as well as the corresponding software version. So you can use this version of the software as you wish.
I hope this answers your question, I will recommend contacting your reseller for more details regarding licenses and technical subscriptions.
Yours sincerely.
Thomas

So if I understand correctly, the license is not to be renewed every year? I'll stop bothering you and I'll go contact my dealer! Thanks again:)
