Commercial parts detailed in the BOM

Hi all

Here's my problem. In an assembly, I integrated a hinge (which is a commercial part in which I made its components virtual, 2 bodies + 1 axis). When drawing this assembly, when I create the nomenclature, I am unable to indicate the hinge as a whole (the table shows me each body of it, see attached image). What should I do then to make the hinge appear in its entirety in the BOM (by choosing the type "part only" and not "first level", otherwise the problem is solved)?

NB: I work under SW2014.

Thank you for your help!

In the hinge assembly, you just have to go to the configuration tab, right-click on the configuration, then property, and in the BOM option, hide the child components.

Or other solution on each of the components right-click property of the component and check exclude from the BOM.

Hello

We use the 1st solution, don't forget to check "hidden" in each config of the assembly, if you have one of course.
