Folding a trellis

Hello

   I have a mesh with superimposed and welded wires well a mesh what lol

    This lattice is cut out in the corners and I'd like to bend it.

 

  I know how to bend a sheet metal, stamping a solid but bending a mesh I dry.

I think it's not possible to bend a piece like that.

The goal? Have a 3D of the part unfolded and folded, we change the unfolded and it changes the folded.

Try to convert your part to sheet metal with the convert to sheet metal tool .

Then make your folds with a sketch line. On the side as you see fit and that's it.

In the image you published, you have a folded version, there you just have to use the "insert folds" function and there your piece will unfold

Because the convert to sheet metal function transforms the part into sheet metal but does not recognize them while inserting folds recognizes the folds. It works great for the ferrules that we receive in WWTP...
