Expiring LYNKOA points?

Hello, I just wanted to have more information, in my lynkoa points, I have seen since 01/01/17 that I have lost more than 600 points, the cause of expired times...

Could someone tell me more?

Kind regards.

Yes there are expiration dates for the points, I think you have to look in the T&Cs

See this excerpt:

"Points are acquired in periods of 4 months:

  • January to April
  • May to August
  • September to December

Points earned during one of these periods can be used in the gift shop for the next 2 periods.

There are 3 dates in the year when you lose points if you haven't spent them in the gift shop:

- January 1st:
On 1 January, you lose all points accumulated between January and April of the previous year
Example: I earned 2,000 points between January 1, 2014 and April 31, 2014, if I don't use them, they will be lost on January 1, 2015

- May 1st:
On 1 May, you lose all points accumulated between May and August of the previous year
Example: I earned 2,000 points between May 1, 2014 and August 31, 2014, if I don't use them, they will be lost on May 1, 2015

- September 1:
On 1 September, you lose all points accumulated between September and December of the previous year
Example: I accumulated 2,000 points between September 1, 2014 and December 31, 2014, if I don't use them, they will be lost on September 1, 2015."

Ok thank you for your answers... I see... but how to spend your points when you don't have enough .... it's a bit like the snake that kills its tail ... even quite disgusting I find ... It's been about 2 years that I've been signing up ... I only had 1500 and a few points... how do you want to buy something in the shop if they don't let you have them... you even have to answer a hell of a number of times to get the minimum 6000 points to be able to buy something ...

it's a bit like the system of the bank and its AGIOS ... we work to make up for what the bank steals from us...

Yes it's to "force" to participate more, but I totally agree with you it's really not easy...

Hello, I'm in the same situation so I understand how you may feel but don't forget that before being a merchant site, it's a forum for mutual aid!  You shouldn't expect to win extra-ordinary prizes, or else as you said, that's all you have to do, but the goal would no longer be mutual aid but purely relentlessness. ( BE CAREFUL THIS IS ONLY MY POINT OF VIEW :) )

Otherwise I hope you won't be disappointed for too long, it would be a shame not to see you on the forum anymore following these remarks...

Kind regards

Hello

I join @Fab camp I find the loss  of points so hard to win really disgusting. It is true that there are rules, but I would like to remind you that in 99% of cases we answer on our working time. I can't spend my days on lynkoa so as not to lose points, I have a job and an employer who relies on me. All the points stolen is work time that I owe to my boss. You have to post more to get  more points , so working less is encouraging people to  take risks ! Don't get me wrong with my speech, I'm not chasing points but I was sold lynkoa   like that with the principle of earning points to go to the store. For me 01/01/2017  -2000pts and to remind you one connection per day =1 pts a good answer =40 pts.

Hello

Completely agree with you that it will be almost impossible to use the points as the points are too difficult to acquire, apparently before the points awarded on the votes up, the connections each day and the correct answer points were much more important. I don't know today how other users do it?!!

The daily connection earns 5 points (30 in the old days)

It is the green thumbs that bring 1 point instead of 5 before

The medals pay quite a bit, but you can only get them once

Yes and to get the medals, you have to spend a lot of time...
