Taking temperature into account in a simulation

Hello

I am looking to carry out a static deformation study for a concrete mould.

I don't have any problems with the simulation but I don't take into account the temperature. (ABS concrete mould around 70°C)

It seems to me that I should use the temperature tool in external loads, but I shouldn't use it properly because I end up with distortion in the wrong direction.

Thank you for your help.

Hello

Maybe this topic can bring you some information.

Thanks for the track but unfortunately I don't have solidworks simulation prenium for the thermal study

I don't know more than that about Solidworks simulation, apart from telling you to take the characteristics of the ABS at 70° for your calculations, I will unfortunately not be able to help you:(

Hello, for your study you could take a look at this

But without Solid Premium I'm not sure of anything...

Kind regards

G.

I'm going to test with the properties of ABS at 70°.

It will be a good approximation I think.
