Do you know any prototypists capable of providing the same technical services as PROTO LAB?

The aim is to produce products and mechanical components that are functional and made of good materials.

But these are services on additive manufacturing processes. 

Proto Labs carries out metal machining that is very competitive in terms of lead time and blows on composite and metal materials.

3D printing is not suitable because my parts are subject to mechanical stress.

Other avenues?

For everything that is metal prototype, it is machined in-house from the mass, or internal sand casting.

If it's plastic parts, there's Bobitech in St Julien Chapteuil near Le Puy that does everything, 3D printing, RIM vacuum casting, injection in a prototype mold. Their design office works with Solidworks

Indeed, we find the main players in rapid prototyping, namely:

3D Prod, Initial, Materialize...

But none of these companies allows fast production (3 days) for all types of machined products (metal or plastic) at prices as competitive as Proto Labs. 

That said, I take note of the following two contacts and will soon do the exercise to test them:

AFU-MP and BOBITECH
