Solidworks part appearances problem

Hello

I can no longer apply the slightest appearance of the SOLIDWORKS library to my parts (whatever they are)

As soon as I drag an appearance (color) from the database, e.g. knurled stainless steel, I have a furtive glimpse of the texture/color for a few milliseconds, then it disappears.

I'm tearing my hair out..

My version: solidworks premium x64 2011, windows 7, on HP Z400 workstation.

Thank you for your enlightenment:)

I can make a knurled surface finish appear on my surface but only with the "RealView Graphics" display enabled.

but I need to see this knurling on a basic shaded display for a 3D in my drawing

Hello

Is it the 2011 SP5 version?

 It can come from the configuration of the workstation.

See my tutorial to reset SolidWorks (you can put the old settings back after):

Otherwise the drivers are up to date?

Especially the graphics card drivers, you can check it here:.

Thank you

yes I thought a config problem too. I'll try to look at it when I have some time at work.

I only managed to place an embossing pattern yesterday.

I give feedback as soon as possible.

thank you again

You say:
"I can make a knurled surface finish appear on my surface but only with the "RealView Graphics" display enabled, only."
and
"see this knurling on a basic shaded display"

I think that's the problem: texture->Real View

Texture -> RealView?

Impossible in classic display then? So why a stealthy display of qlq milliseconds?

I have changed my version since then.
