When I want to edit the materials for a part the software lags more than 15s, to open the file, I would like to know in which folder the texture and materials are found in your home if this possible, maybe a folder path that is not good in my home?

You have to go to the solidworks options to find out where the Material Library you are using is located.
Tools-> Option-> System Options--> File Location-> Materials Database
By default, the solidworks one is located in the folder:
C:\Program Files\SOLIDWORKS Corp\SOLIDWORKS\lang\english\sldmaterials
We had bugs in the material editor when switching from Solidworks 2015 to 2017 (slowness, crash) since then I have gotten into the habit of making backups with each modification of our database.
