Layer problem in rhino 5

I work with rhino 5.8

I can't unlink objects from the same layer, even if I'm duplicating them on another layer. When I turn off the base layer, the objects pasted on the new layers disappear as well.

Is it probably a link or reference problem either of the layer or the blocks?
