Selection problem on drafsight

Hello a question about drafsight Free version: the selection rectangle always selects the entire object .normally when you form a green selection rect from right to left only the selected points become active.

It is stuck on a global selection. Can you help me?

Hello, thank you for your answer. No it's not that, when I make my selection rectangle from right to left it takes my full shape and all the points are active in bleu.je also went to the user preferences: I'm in the cross-selection window with activate the entity group selection sets.

From right to left, normally, it selects everything that intersects the selection rectangle.

then if the drawn shape is a rectangle (e.g.), it will select the complete shape.

(Well, normally)

and from left to right, it selects only the features included in the marquee.

So before it worked differently?

In my opinion, there are 2 object sensor modes.

The first: in a selection area format from the bottom right to the top left.

This selection area is going to select, all the lines, coming into this area.

The second: by forming a selection area from the top left to the bottom right.

This selection box will select only the lines (or segments) starting and ending in this box.

This last way of doing things, will already greatly limit your number of unwanted objects.

On a circle or a closed polyline, from right to left my rectangle selects the whole shape.so if it's normal what function allows me to select only a few points?

I shattered my  polyline. It's ok, thank you for your answer.
