Problem of synchronization of bubble and BOM

Hello

When I create a BOM from an assembly on a drawing and I associate a bubble in automatic, the item numbers of the balloons and the BOM match well.

On the other hand, if I make a change in the assembly, I lose the correspondence between the balloons and the BOM.

In case of deletion of parts, the BOM numbering deletes the line without changing the item numbers, but the bubble shifts.

If a part is added to the assembly, the part does increase in the BOM, but on the other hand, when I want to add its bubble, it does not take the BOM number but the number 1.

How to synchronize the 2 without the item number changing in case of modification.

Hello

There are several topics on the SolidWorks website

For example, they talk about it here:

https://login.solidworks.com/nidp/saml2/sso

But no answer!

A priori the only solution is given here:

It is related to the config.

Instead of setting sub assembly components to be excluded from the BOM through selecting the properties for each component, follow these steps:

1) go to your configuration manager
2) RMB the configration to be used and LMB properties
3) Under BOM Options check the "Don't show child components in BOM when used as sub-assembly" box
4) LMB OK and save your sub assembly

The balloons in your drawings should now display the proper number because your parts are no longer set to be excluded from BOM's and are set to be hidden when used as a sub assembly.

Small clarification:

RMB = right mouse button = right click

LMB =  left mouse button = left click

And of course BOM = bill of materials = bill of materials = bill of materials

Have you checked that the bubble view is linked to your nomenclature?

Property on View>Link to BOM>Selection

And this, even after modifying your assembly.

Because if he only puts "1s", it's because he's lost the link.

indeed my speech bubbles are well linked to my nomenclature,

I just did a test on Lucas' solution, but my problem remains the same.

The only solution is to delete and reinsert the table...

Good evening

Can you attach one of the files that is causing problems here?

Hello

Personally, I also had problems related to these bubbles, I found a trick, or counter-bug if we can say so. ^^

I noticed that when the view associated with the BOM table is inserted into its default scale, everything goes well. On the other hand, if I change the scale of the view, then I insert the table, bugs occur...

I don't know if it can help you, but you never know.

Unsolved problem!
