Scale Issue on DraftSight

Hello

I just downloaded DraftSight to edit and dimension drawings on DWG files.

I opened a plan that was sent to me. I can measure and make the dimensions without any problem. On the other hand, if I want to add a drawing, it is not at all at the same scale. If I make a rectangle exactly the same size as an existing one on the plan and measure them, one will be 1.20 m, and the one created will be about 0.01. What is curious is that by measuring two identical shapes, there are totally different ribs!

Hoping that someone has a solution.

From your explanation, I think you are drawing directly in the "paper" tab next to a drawing that is in the "model" tab.

 

The paper tab is rather reserved for the cartridge. We draw in the "model" tab and then we adjust the scale of the window in relation to the title block in the "paper" tab
