I am using CATIA v5r20 on Windows 8.1. It works very well except for my screenshots. When I want to take a screenshot with the pixel mode (output .png), I get a black image. Only vector outputs work but not image outputs. Has anyone ever encountered this image capture problem where the captured image is black? And if so, how did you solve this problem?
To capture an image, select Tools->Image->Capture.... The capture bar opens. Depending on whether you want to capture the figure or the tree, you must Choose a pixel ( ) or vector ( ) capture. Click on the input icon and using the mouse, frame the image you want to capture and then click on the of an album . Choose Tools->Image->Album... to see the contents of this album. Images stored in the album can be saved in different formats (JPG, BMP,...) with icon . If the images are intended to be printed, it is preferable to change some input settings: the Wallpaper should be white and white lines should be printed in black. To do this, click options icon and make the following changes: - in General, check White background - in Miscellaneous, check Capture white vectors in black
