Hello
For several days I have been trying to insert one assembly into another but it is impossible for me because it gives me the message " One of the components of this assembly is in a state of recovery. Impossible to add now ."
After several hours of searching I can't find what it blocks, everything looks good.
Have you ever had this problem?
hello, This means that SolidWorks considers that a file (part or subassembly) is not "cleanly rebuilt", even if visually everything looks OK. As long as it is in this state, the assembly is locked and cannot be inserted elsewhere.
Quick method to identify THE culprit
If the assembly is large:
- Temporarily removes half of the components
- Test insertion
- If it goes → the problem is in the other half
- Repeat (dichotomous method)
Yes, it's painful, but it works every time.
Hello;
The topic has been discussed and resolved here:

The recovery bar of one of the parts has been activated and not put back in place and the alert message to identify it has been deactivated, see this subject:
Edit, it's in French despite the apparent translation!
Edit2: And obviously I'm slower than @Maclane !
Great, it's all good, thank you very much!

How do we translate then?? … " Luc the lucky?" ![]()
