SolidWork 2016 installation problem

Hello
Currently doing a BTS internship in a company, I tried to download SolidWork 2016 but unfortunately I encounter a problem when launching the download (execution of setup.exe).

This is a direct download from 2016 and not an upgrade.

The window opens and a message is displayed "SolidWork 2016 requires a version: Windows 7 Pack 1 and you are in Windows 7 Pack 0 .... Closure of the facility."
The window then closes and cannot be downloaded.

The problem is that my system is in Windows 7 (x64), which is normally compatible with SW 2016. See image:

I hope you will be able to help me in my approach and thank you in advance.
Kind regards.

Hello

After a new download and a restart, is it the same?

Where did you download the software?

The problem may be the type of version: "family".

I couldn't find any contraindication to the Family Premium version.

Is it the 64-bit version?

Edit: yes it's written at the bottom, I hadn't seen!

Hi all!

"Windows Home Editions and Windows To Go are not supported."

At the very bottom of the page. But Solidworks 2016 on a notebook, you have to want it! Don't you have another machine?

Hi @ antonin.der

as it says in your screenshot

you need mini windows 7 SP1 for solidworks 2016 educ

See this link http://www.solidworks.fr/sw/support/SystemRequirements.html

and as @ our friend Bart  says, your pc is a bit light to work with SW 2016

And beware of the Office Excel and Word 2010/2013 suite imperative

Hello

Thank you for your answer but I solved the problem myself, not wanting to launch from the download setup, I then modified my configuration on the setup, which appeared after the download and I then managed to download the 2016 version.

All of them work properly. Thank you for your attention and wish you a good day;)
