I can't install Draftsight 2015 on my laptop (windows 8 64bits). The installation starts successfully and stops with the following error message "Specified path, c:\.... , too long. This prevents the software from being installed without the possibility of making another choice.
I put it directly under C and change the path in the options, but still the same problem.
I had to install the 2012 version to be able to work

For Windows 8, open any folder, then at the top click on the "View" tab and then on "Option".

Having the message "the specified path..." is too long" during the installation under W7, I downloaded the tutorial. It tells you to rename c:\ProgramData\Application data (or name close to it).
I do have a folder C:\ProgramData but in the subfolder I only have "Applications", the other subfolders correspond to installed applications. I renamed "Application" and same error message.
My PC is a Windows laptop is up to date.
I hope someone will have an ise, otherwise I will have to migrate to W10.
