Using SolidWorks, my screen freezes periodically, requiring a shutdown and restart to temporarily unblock it. This problem occurs when working with part or assembly files.

Indeed, I sometimes encounter this problem, and to remedy it I do exactly that, I stop and I restart. I don't know why, I have the SW2022SP4 version.
There you have it, I have no other solution to this problem. I think someone will find the solution for us.

I don't remember having encountered this problem (in general SW crashes rather than freezes 
).
At first glance, I am leaning towards various problems:
-
Drivers not compatible
-
Insufficient PC resources
-
Antivirus that acts up
-
A parameter in SW that crashes under certain conditions
If the crash is easy to reproduce, the easiest way is to start SW in safe mode so that it launches with a default setting.
If it doesn't freeze anymore, it's because it comes from there.

Hello to you I have the same problem is to see that freezes When I use the right panel That I go to look for the items in my library Impossible to do anything The only way is to restart it Via the Task Builder...
It's very unfortunate when you lose your data every time.
