I don't understand when I save my assembly in step (at the request of a customer), when I open the step file in SolidWorks the parts are assembled and positioned in any way.
Do you know why? And what to do?
I tried to redo the assembly etc. nothing changes...

Is it the same thing regardless of the type of recording in Step? (AP203 / AP214)
What if you open your assembly (the STEP) with Edrawing?
Does it do the same if you record it in parasolid?
