Macro Issue in SW Task Scheduler

Hello

I'm desperately trying to do drawing exports in .dxf but when I start the execution of my task, it turns in a vacuum and after a while, it tells me something like "Execution of the macro impossible" and it goes on like this...

If anyone knows about this problem?

It's in the SolidWorks 2014 Task Scheduler.

Thanks in advance,

Rémy.

Hello, is this a scheduler task or a macro? If it's a macro, what's the code? Isn't it a problem of a non-existent folder name or an already existing file but read-only?

It's a task of the planner, at least I think.

I am using the SolidWorks 2014 Task Scheduler tool included with the SolidWorks installation.

 > All Programs/SolidWorks 2014/SolidWorks Tools/SolidWorks 2014 Task Scheduler.

Is it the latest SP of SolidWorks 2014 that is installed? The SP5 it seems to me. Otherwise it happens with all the files? Do you choose a particular folder to start the task?

I'm currently in SP4, I saw the availability of an update to SP5 but a friend told me that it was messing up a lot of links to do the update, so I didn't dare to take the step yet, wrongly?

And yes it does that to me with several files, I tested in "a whole complete file" mode with lots of drawing and also just a single drawing.

Updating an SP changes almost nothing. Maybe we should start there.

I see that you have the Axemble support medal, it is also possible to use Batch Converter to do this. See help here:

The Integration utility will also be able to do this. In addition, there is a macro available on Lynkoa for creating DXFs:

OK I'm going to update the SP so and I'll see later, small sub-question, I have available, the 2015 update, there on the other hand if I do it, it will make a mess in my files?

I'll see Batch Converter next.

No, it's the MyCADtools utility that you have to download, on Lynkoa or in the MyCADtools utility suite.

They can be downloaded here:

Perfect it's impeccable, with the update of the SP, the task planning works correctly!

I'm waiting just in case for your opinion on the update from SW 2014 to SW 2015, if the change is not too "abrupt" for the links in my files.

Thank you!

Otherwise, to get more opinions for the transition from 2014 to 2015, why not ask a new question. Probably other users will have interesting information.

Edit: the 2015 version is quite buggy I think, so the update is not recommended while waiting for the SP3 which should arrive in April.
