No error messages but the export of the files does not start.

I'm in the 2017 version for both.

  KB are Windows patches (updates).  What is your latest  Windows update?

You can uninstall the Windows update  on the server. 

How do you launch  your tasks?

One task host or several?

Publish tasks would crash from time to time following a windows update on our task host

This update has been removed, problems solved on my side

Sometimes, the new version of Windows 10 is not well compatible with the installed programs. Before the Windows 10 update, did you back up the data on the disk? If yes, you can try to restore the backup file and revert Windows 10 to the latest version. This can solve the problem. As for Windows backup, it is possible to use the built-in Windows function "Create System Image" and data backup software, as here
