Problem folded unfolded

Hi all 

 

So, I created a tank with the sheet metal tool (SW2010), and I used the unfolded tool to drill a hole in the tank for the passage of the pipes, the problem is that once folded the hole does not appear????

 

Can you help me please. Thank you

This is normal if the hole is made after the unfolded state!

You have to do your material removals first.

which + is if you drill unfolded in plie you won't have the same shape or you have to make an oblong hole

so sketch plan and projected on the face for removal of material

Otherwise, as @gt22 says, you use the Unfold command, you make your holes and then you use the Fold command to return the part to its normal state.
